Common Issues

I am having trouble printing a document.

To print the document you are viewing with Adobe Acrobat, you must use the “Print” icon in the Adobe Acrobat area of your window. This should be located on the left-hand side of your screen, just above the document's bookmark column.

If you use the “Print” icon or select “Print” from the "File" menu in the internet browser portion of your window the document will not print correctly.

I want to view an Official Statement online.

When you first view our homepage at www.MuniOS.com you will see the 20 most recent Preliminary and Final Official statements available, each with the title of the issue and a brief description.

If you do not see the issue you are looking for you can scroll to the bottome of the page and click on "Next 20 >>" to view the next 20 issues, or use the “Preliminary” tab to view the most recent Preliminary Official Statements, or the “Final” tab to view the most recent Final Official statements.

You can also use the Search feature by clicking on the Search tab or use the MuniSearch box near the top left of the page.

When you find the issue you want, click on the blue title of the issue. A new window will open a Notice and Disclaimer for the issue. Read the Notice and Disclaimer and if you agree to the terms, click on the button at the bottom of the page. A new window will open and ask if you would like to download the document or view it online.

Select VIEW and your internet browser will open the document with Adobe Acrobat. If it is a large document file it may take several seconds to load depending on your internet connection speed. When the document is loaded you should see the cover of the statement on the right and a column with bookmark links on the left.

After I view the Notice and Disclaimer, I click the button and then the "View" option but I can’t see the document.

Our online statements are created with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) format. PDF is a widely used electronic publishing format that allows anyone using the Adobe Reader software to view and print a document with its original appearance preserved.

You may need to install Adobe Acrobat Reader or update your current software to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader to view the online documents.

If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader, or if you are using a version of Adobe Reader that is earlier than Adobe Acrobat 5.0, you may obtain an updated version free of charge from the Adobe web site at www.adobe.com

I am looking for an old Official Statement but I can’t seem to find it on MuniOS.com.

We currently have 10,993 electronic versions of Official Statements available online dating from July 2000 to present. If the issue you are looking for falls within this time frame, try using our Search feature to find the issue you are looking for.

If you are looking for a Preliminary Official Statement of an issue that later went final, it will not be available online. Preliminary Official Statements are removed once a Final Official Statement for the issue is published.

I want to make some changes to the Adobe PDF version of a statement but I can’t.

All of the Official Statements that we have on line are created with Adobe Acrobat and are secured with Adobe Encryption technology. Online documents may be saved or printed, but they can not be altered in anyway.

If you are a member of the Working Group for an Official Statement and have changes you need to make to a document, you can email those changes to or call us at 734.821.2500.
